Have you been wanting to pick a pail of prickly pears?! Well, you're in luck! Join us Saturday, September 10th for our first-ever Prickly Pear Pick-n-Sip!

We will meet at the Hollywood Orchard Mini Grove at 3:30 PM. From there we will walk up the hill and pick the prickly pear cactus fruits as we go. At the top of the hill we will burn the spines off of the fruit over the grill and then turn the fruit into a delicious syrup to be enjoyed in a refreshing drink.

Participants should bring gloves and wear sturdy, closed toed shoes for walking up the hill. Please also bring metal tongs for picking (and braising) the fruit and a plastic bucket/container to put your fruit in. We hope you can join us!
