You won't want to miss this Summer Farmers' Circle! Join us on Saturday, July 28 at 9:30 AM for an Oak Ecology Farmers' Circle with arborist, musician, and all around eco-enthusiast, Gary Knowlton. Gary will talk to us about the role of oak trees in our urban environment. We will learn about what the Los Feliz 'Oaks' neighborhood might have looked like 100 years ago, how oaks adapt to cycles of drought and fire, how acorns are important food sources, and more! You can also ask Gary some fruit tree questions as well.

This event will take place at the top of the Glen Green Street near the Mini Grove in the Beachwood Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles. When you walk up Glen Green Street, veer to the left at the cul-de-sac. We'll gather in the little amphitheater on the left. Parking is limited in the neighborhood. If possible, please walk or use a ride share. If you must drive, park on Beachwood Drive.
