The Wilds of Hollywoodland

I wanted to share a beautiful look at our Hollywoodland neighborhood that was posted by my friends at Boing Boing a while back. This is a sweet “Tour” of our area (The “Great Create”) and it’s very unique old granite staircases connecting the upper canyon to the lower canyon. Along with the savage plant growth endemic, transplanted and rare that is part and parcel to life in the rustic ambience that exists here in Beachwood Canyon, the home of Hollywoodland Orchard.

  1. It’s a beautiful thing. I would like to have seen it when water cascaded down the middle. It is just one of the 7 (or 9?) ‘hidden stairs’ in Beachwood Canyon.

    • Yes, Bill was saying that these stairs were also tied to a great early “Metro” route design also. Brill.
