Farmers' Circle – Beachwood Canyon Plant ID Walk

  • The Bird House Garden 2460 North Gower Street Los Angeles, CA, 90068 United States (map)

It may be hard to believe, but the native Beachwood Canyon flora is more than just succulents and lemon trees. Join us on Sunday, October 16th for a special Beachwood Canyon Plant ID Walk with expert gardener and landscape professional, Lora Hall of Full Circle Gardening. We'll look at fruit bearing plants (of course) but also some of the native plants that still grow in the canyon, as well as many of the other plants we find along the way.

We'll meet at the garden of The Bird House – 2460 North Gower Street (on the right side, down the stairs) – at 9:30 AM for coffee and head out on our plant walk at 10 AM. Participants should wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle and a hat. The walk will go at a moderate pace so we have time to look at the plants and will last approximately 90 minutes. What a great opportunity to chat with your neighbors and learn more about the environment that surrounds us all.

We hope you can join us!
