Road Trip to Oak Glen

Hello Trail Friends 🌲

We’re thrilled to invite you to something truly special…

A guided group hike at Oak Glen Preserve, Saturday January 24th.
Led by The Wildlands Conservancy Naturalist, Heidi Stangeland!

A beautiful, refreshing outdoor experience that blends nature, movement, and connection — and a whole lot of fresh mountain air.

Our plan is simple (and a little refreshing):
To step away from our busy lives, stretch our legs, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the wild beauty just outside the city.

Oak Glen Preserve sits at about 5,000 feet elevation, so expect cooler temperatures, crisp air, and gorgeous views. The hike is an easy-to-moderate 2-mile loop, taking about 90 minutes, and is perfect for anyone who enjoys walking, talking, and soaking in nature.

After we complete the loop, we’ll gather for lunch together — a chance to relax, refuel, and enjoy the company of Orchard friends, far from our usual haunts.

Important details:
• Meet at: Beachwood Market PARKING LOT at 8:00 AM
Carpools will leave promptly, arriving at Oak Glen at 10:00 AM.
We hike with Heidi,
then share lunch until 1:00 PM.
• Estimated return: around 3:00 PM
• Elevation: ~5,000 ft — dress in layers, bring water, and wear comfortable shoes
• $15 covers travel, trekking and lunch.

Space is limited, so BOOK NOW to secure your spot.
